In the Intermediate Grades at St. James Catholic School, our 9- to 11-year-old students are guided through lessons designed to meet academic standards appropriate to their individual level of learning. With a strong emphasis on mastery in all core subjects — reading, writing, math, science, and social studies — students build the skills, habits, and confidence needed for future success.

Teachers provide a balance of direct instruction and independent, project-based learning to help students think critically, collaborate effectively, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
